Only issue that is consistent amongst all 3 of the docks ive had are they all lose some connectivity with the gigabit port in the back.
I suspect it would work just fine with the apple 30 cinema display (dual-link dvi) as well.
I had the thunderbolt 2 version in my last setup, and this takes it one step further with the front-mount sd card reader.
