My only complaint about this design is the clear part that covers the front now goes down to extend over the circular button at the bottom on the screen yet it is cutout so its not actually covering it

The older design had a rubbery section that covered this buttonarea and the clear plastic was sealed at its edges

Now with the button open liquid can get onto the surface of the phone in that spot

While i do understand the defender is not a watertight case and i certainly dont have a large concern for this it is a little annoying that i cant use an antibac wipe on the screen cover like i could with the old version because some of the moisture from the wipe will end up trapped between the actual screen and the clear protective shield of the case

Its a real pain to completely remove the case just to wipe away what is essentially one drop of moisture thats spread out across the screen and the underside of the protective barrier

I accept that maybe i should be more careful and not let my nieces sticky fingers get at the phone or be sure my dog isnt sniffing at it
