Pull out clear rubber or plastic rim, insert phone, then refit the clear portion under the lip. The phone snaps securely in both the case and belt clip.
No degradation in any way. Very happy with my purchase.

Might have been the less than seller packaging but for $40+ i’d expect a flawless project to start with.
After reading the description of the case, it mentioned how it was supposed to come with a lanyard for the case.
