Pros

I use it in my sewing room and can't imagine working without the visibility it provides. My husband has bad eyesight and this light sets beside his recliner where he can see to read. The ottlite allows me to sew or unsew dark fabrics with ease.

The lamp looks like it will work for what i want. I have 4 different types and they are all excellent. These lamps are worth the purchase.

This replaces another ottlite that we had for years! I have never been disappointed by ott lite. I am a seamstress, which means i have an ott floor light by each machine.

Cons

Customer requested and received a full refund. Anyone anywhere else is blinded. Check with customer support if there is any room for a mistake on their part. And beware of descriptions.

It’s sturdiness and brightness makes it easier to embroidery in my recliner at night while watching tv

I’ve had an ott light for years, i use it to read, knit, crochet and embroidery, they are the best!

Used them now 8 months they blend in to the surroundings and do not stand out give a nice swath of light on students work .

I will say this, the wrench that is included with the light used for assembly is next to useless.
