The ottlite magnifier has a built-in light. The light is bright and the magnification is awesome! Do use caution when adjusting the magnifier. After having cataract surgery, the brightness of this lamp helps me to see what i am working on.

The lighting is good. My other ott light is 20+ years old!

There's no chance of this thing topping over! It's a tad heavy but has been a huge assist to me! Very sturdy lamp.

Ottlite basically claimed it was user error, and therefore wouldn’t honor their warranty.
