Pros

I am a quilter and need a bright light and this is perfect. The lamp was packaged very well. I rearranged the room and needed another lamp.

The brightness is easily adjustable and i love the long adjustable neck--so convenient. It has 4 different levels of brightness. In the dim mode, it actually makes a nice mood light.

Cons

This ott light came wrapped in plastic. After just 6 months of maybe 1 hour of daily use, the bulb no longer works.

Looked like it was used repackaged and smudges etc. It's all wonky and misshapen. Now it's landfill.

I’m 70 and have old eyes, but this light never makes my eyes feel strained even from the detail work of making cards.

And because of the lamp type, it never heated up -- even in the small area under the sink.

Price

Good value & perfect lighting for reading, needlework or crafts.

A little pricey but hopefully it will last a good long time.
