When placed in the lamp, the bulb gets yellow for about an inch of length. The second bulb fits the lamp but won't turn on/light.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging that i received was different than the listing which shows a blister pack.

Mine was in a triple cardboard box wrapped in bubble pack - superior packaging in my opinion.

Replacement for a burned out bulb in a 25-year old ottlite.

I have 4 ott-lite lamps, all purchased many years ago, and i was concerned about getting replacement bulbs.

Thankfully there was a lot of information at the ottlite website and availability at amazon.
