The body of the lamp has this kind of faux leather on the bottom half and the top half is a nice soft matte rubber kind of material. It arrived the day promised, and it arrived early enough for me to present it at a party.

Ottlite recharge led lights have three brightness settings. It tilts so there's no glare on the screen. I use this for crocheting, and it is so much brighter than my other light.

The slimmer design gives me more room when i am sewing. It helps alot in the finer work. Perfect for crafting, sewing, puzzling, or reading.

I keep it plugged in but can easily unplug the back and use it anywhere. It seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time. The only slightly negative point is when the battery is low, it goes out.

The battery life is legit terrible when it’s not plugged in. It holds a charge but if using the medium and high settings it shuts off after 20 seconds. This is useless as a rechargeable item - the charge is too limited to use as a cordless option.
