Pros

They are sturdy and lonthis g-lasting! It assemblies easy and is very bright and has a heavy base. I've not had any tipping issues, the base is sturdy.

Very bright. I wish it had different brightness settings. The brightness is on spot.

Cons

This lamp has essential design flaws that impede its use and severely hinders its abilities to perform. We are very disappointed that the unreplaceable 18w power ballast died before light bulb!

Next hope is duck tape and metal splints to replace threads that are now worthless. The segments are not threaded correctly to be able to screw into the piece below. Threads were stripped and slight dent in shade.

This is the kind of occurrence that makes me doubt the whole review system. Seems to me that they have no incentive to produce a quality product if customers have to pay even more to get their defective product replaced. For the price these are junk.

I am overwhelmed by the lack of common sense here. It is easy to knock over with a slight bump. Eventualy the pole becomes detached from base.
