When i first put it over the drain it didnt suction real great

I tried to pull the seal up by the tab on the top and the suction was too strong for me to do so

But peeling from the side lifts it right up

If youre using it just to block a drain from something falling down into it not filling it up with water it should work just fine for that but know that the suction isnt really strong without water helping hold it down
