I got this bc i didnt think my landlord would want me to drill holes in my wall to mount this and i heard i could just use the magnet to stick it to something magnetic in my case the overhead vent

There was no convenient place to mount a knife holder in my small kitchen except on the fridgethis item can either be wall mounted or be placed on a metal surface

I removed the protective plastic strip but it wouldnt stick to my frig

After reading comments here i realized i had to remove the rear cover plate and then had to pry it off the magnet not an easy job
