Pros

The plug offers the ability to notify of wildfires in proximity. It's super flexible so if you're only using one outlet you can keep the weather seal in place. The outside weatherproof part of this is gold.

Follow up to original revue. Highly recommend doing business with this company. Good purchase for use.

One thing i've noticed is that if you overload it it will not be able to recover until unplugged for a moment. If you look at the picture, with only 1 item plugged in, it leaves the second socket open for water.

The android app works well and can be used to see both real-time and historical usage. The software user interface is simple and intuitive. Install app on your for wifi connection and easy scheduling.

Cons

The plug was kind of shielded from the rain however, could get moist. This plug is supposed to be for outdoor.

Etekcity dropped my wifi network and will not reconnect. The only way to get it to reconnect is to reset the device. According to them my outlet is receiving a weak signal, however it’s literally on the other side of the wall from the router.
