I got this to use for camping so while the waterproof feature wasnt totally necessary it seemed like a good idea for times when it might kind of damp or lightly raining

I find the 6 ft cute length perfect long enough for my uses but not so long thats its in my way and cumbersome

The actual strip has 3 outlets which are spaced enough apart to fit fairly large plugs but not so far as to make the strip overly large

I dont really need an outdoor cord for that but sometimes i spill water when watering the plants so i thought this power strip would be a good choice

In addition i thought that if i ever wanted to run the lights outside ill be all set with this cord
