I highly recommend this as a daypack.
A couple of points—the bag could be more durable.
Lightweight and comfortable backpack, with hydrator, bought for short hikes in the mountains
The fabric is not super durable—i use this as a day pack.

I got grey instead of black to avoid it getting sun faded but grey looks like a sun faded black already

Prepandemic i used this bag to hike a local trail about 2xweek took it to joshua tree idyllwild and catalina and its served me well on local regular walks and the occasional hike somewhere

The strap that holds the bladder hose to the shoulder strap the little one broke off

What i like about this pack is that its basically expandable—you can wear a sweatshirt and then loop that sweatshirt into that front flap when you want to take it off

I like the quick disconnect of the tube but the closure is bizarre
