Pros

The outdoormaster does a great job of balancing the two. It's not too hot, is safe, and has great ventilation for hot summer day rides. The only downside is its weight.

It only takes about 3 clicks in the back to be snug.

The helmet is well made and has a padded chin pad. The chin strap is thick but doesn't irritate. It has the wheel on the back to get the perfect tightness around the head.

The helmet is comfy to wear. The liner is removable, washable, and quick-drying.

Cons

The vents make this less than ideal for rain commuting, and not quite warm enough for colder riding. Another issue is that it is heavy compared to our other helmets. I have several other outdoormaster helmets - ski and bike - that fit great.
