Though i am trading my dog not to pull when he does it doesn’t wrench my arm or his neck the bungee significantly reduces any shock and having two handles is a great help when walking your dog and another dog or animal not on leash startles your dog and you need pull your dog out of harms way i wish someone had come up with this idea years ago for the civilian market
