Not for for purpose the magnet and the sensor have to be a maximum of 5mm apart i dont think there are many if any bikes out there that have that slim clearance between the spokes and bike so unfortunately for most bikes this wont work its a shame because the unit looks really good i managed to configure the unit with my bike including the wheel diameter sizing for accurate mileage tracking but the sensor never worked and i was unable to get it to work even after changing batteries with the unit
