Pros & Cons
Pros
The overall build quality and protection seem solid, making it a decent option if the shape works for you. This brand has great customer service, and they stand behind their products.
Hit the deck. No head injury, no headaches. It’s a problem i’ve had with other “value” helmets and is usually fixed by placing mole skin on the inside sides of it.
Cons
The shape of this helmet is very odd - makes you look like a bubble-head. It is almost a circular shape and the skull is more oblong in shape. Very little padding. If you have an oval head, don't get this, it's for spherical heads only.
Get a bicycle helmet. Better to buy a normal bike helmet. I wish there was some kind of legitimate head protection that existed in between a beastly helmet like this, and wearing a beanie, or nothing.
This helmet is not certified for skateboarding. The listing and the company's site only list that it's astm certified, but not which astm certification it has. It's rather misleading to say this is a skateboard helmet.

Quality
As advertised nice fit looks to be quality built feels good when wearing
Did sweat a bit under this helmet in 83°f weather today, but it felt so sturdy despite being lightweight.
This one fits and seems quite durable.
I feel like the strap chokes me because its to thin, and the inside of the helmet is a bit uncomfortable
Competitiveness
We tried the thousand brand helmet and it was way too short so the lower half of my son's head was still exposed.

This one is very similar to the thousand helmet stylewise and the quality is just as good but it completely covers his head and its easy to put on so he can clip the straps and tighten it himself at fiveyearsold
