Pros

Works well in gas bbq but be sure to remove part of grill and put it right on flavor bars to insure it smokes. Easy to use/ removable lid allows a nice amount of smoke & flavoring. Great for making smoked beef bacon.

It is very sturdy. Decent size, to hold a good amount of wood chips. Holds a decent amount of chips and works perfectly.

Cons

Have to run bbq up to 400 + before it starts smoking then i have to turn it way down to be able to cook slowly & smoke. When steak gets to 110 - 115 i take it off and put it on the sear burner for 1 1/2 min per side and a temp of 135.

I cut up a shopping cart and bent it to be a grill on legs, the whole thing fits into an upside down metal bucket with a hole in top.

Gets the job done, provides good amount of smoke when wood chips are soaked for 30-40 minutes beforehand.
