I have purchased another set for his bday but the wood case they were to reside in fell apart in shipping and the mfr did not offer the knives again at the same price

After reading the review and doing research on the internet i ordered these knives on august 19th and received them on august 26th

Im a tiny bit disappointed that when i wash them by hand the woods feels rough kind of like a piece of unsanded wood after soaking in water

When i received no response i sent the company a letter with a photo of the broken knife asking for a replacement

It took a while but the company did stand by their product and therefore despite the problem with one knife an issue that has not occurred with any others i would change my rating from my initial two stars to four stars
