Pros

Followed instructions and cleaned it before use. Takes only couple minutes to boil the water. This way the mug is warm but not scalding.

Not the best quality, but eminently functional. No off taste. The only complaint is a cosmetic one.

Ovente kettle works really well! It heats up much faster than water on the stove. Love this electric kettle.

Cons

Only 2 months old and latch on the lid latch is broken after two months of occasional use. Cord is very thick and inflexible making it difficult to place the kettle on the counter. After 6 months of daily use it start leaking.

The warranty also seems to be a ruthless lie. The pictures shows the switch is on but there's no light and not powering on.

Purchase this product eight years ago, and it’s still running!

It is actually a very good product which i used everyday about 3-4x a day because i drink a lot teas.

I don't care about the base having broken pieces as long the product works or not work.

Not sure if i can blame the product or my mistake to get a 1.
