My one tiny nitpick is if your doing pourover coffee perhaps consider getting a gooseneck electric kettle instead if possible

Its by no means mandatory and this kettle is very much capable but the goose neck kettle should provide a tad more control where this kettle is lacking

I used to own gooseneck kettles since all our good stuff was from the grandparents and thats just what they had which by the way those 10 kettles from yesteryear are still superior to the 300 chemex ones do yourself a favor and yard sale hunt first

I did multiple temperature measurements to make sure it was calibrated and its only about 13° off

This unit is onpar with bonavita not that the name actually counts for much now like most old european names its piggybacking a glorious past to sell whats not much more than the same chinese made bangladeshi assembled crap as everyone else dont let the discount price fool you
