The light is very dim despite brand new batteries and changing to more new batteries. There isn't room in the mirror's housing, and there shouldn't be wired connections outside of an electrical box. No way to tighten or fix.

That said i found that the wall plate that mounts the mirror to the electrical box does not secure completely tight to the wall

Even when tightened very firmly the mirror escutcheon can still be jiggled a bit on the wall
