Pros

Pla filament is still easy to print with and has the added carbon fiber. The small dragon and the dragon egg in picture look good. Near perfect color match for hermes typewriter parts.

Never had any problem with overture matte. Matte sheen gives prints a much more ~premium~ appearance.

The cardboard spool adds friction, a low-friction/bearing-based spool holder is essential. Adhesion is reliable when the machine is setup right, feeds reliably, not prone to stringing. Material properties are good.

Cons

The overture matte pla is matte, but when goes through the 3d printer, it melts and becomes shiny as any other pla filament. The print quality is sub par, lacking good adhesion to itself or multiple types of beds and bed sprays. Prints warped and did ... Read More

The best use for this filament is the garbage. This is hands-down the lowest quality filament i've ever attempted to use. Other reviews give a lot more detail and i would advise taking heed and avoid the product.

I’ve been buying this filament for a few years and i am always impressed with the quality!

I have used a handful of colors from overture, and so far the print quality is very good.

I had some issues with the adhesion.

All my prints are coming out looking like molds compared to the other filaments i used before with the same settings.

Price

First off the price is perfect, and the outrageous amounts of color choices they have is even better.

Packaging/appearance

Love the color and the packaging is great as well.

Competitiveness

I actually prefer this filament over the much more expensive prusa galaxy black.

Prints end up with a clean, paper-like texture.
