Pros & Cons
Pros
Price is good and it is dependable. Printer is a prusa mk4. It performs the same as the snapmaker brand filament.
Cons
Bambu lab & prusa is the worst filament i have ever used. Tends to strip very easily when traveling through the gears so it did not work well with my prusa with mmu 2 at all. When i pulled the filament out, notice that the end hasn't melted.
This reel seems to be a dud. The quality of the parts is passable but not as good.
This filament is so brittle after printing that it’s not even worth the time. After the print is going, i go back to check the diameter of this overture filament and it is pretty consistently1. Unable to print more than 2 or 3 meters without intervent... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Good filament, prints good, watch temps when printing.
This filament is absolutely phenomenal for simple polygonal parts that are designed for primarily structural use.
If you want good adhesion print this material with a heated build plate over 50 degrees c and less than 80 degrees.
Absolutely terrible for high resolution or detailed pieces like artwork.
Price
Overall i have been impressed with this filament for the price.
For the price this is the best filament that ive found.
The price is good and it is dependable.
Being able to estimate remaining materials by weight and length is useful and it comes at no extra cost, while not being availa... Read More
Shipping
I didn't realize it was named chocolate until it arrived.
Packaging/appearance
I was looking for a shiny gold filament, and was taken by the picture on www.
Competitiveness
Even when using the extra draft mode in x1c, the prints still come out better than most older or cheaper 3d printers i've had in the past.
If you are looking for a good pla that typically sits in the lower-tier price range, overture is a good go-to.
It performs the same as the snapmaker brand filament.

I spent quite a bit of time adjusting settings and even did a full maintenance on my printer to try to improve the results but minimal results

I found disabling zhop lowering retraction distance and increasing retraction speed brought the most improvements but still did not make it suitable for such prints
