Pros & Cons
Pros
Petg is known for its strength, durability, and flexibility. The color is simply stunning and gives my 3d prints a beautiful, metallic finish. Mm per second seems to be a good print speed.
One of the standout features of the overture petg filament is its excellent adhesion properties. Bonder, jb weld, and overture petg all work well together.
Used to print a new fan duct/shroud for my printhead. I have the creality ender 3 v2 neo and my settings that i run through cura for this filament are, nozzle @ 235°, bed @ 80°. Running an ender 5+ printer.
Clear filaments are a bit finicky, but this is the most friendly version i've found thus far. Overture is by far my favorite brand. Great price and product.
I always make sure to have at least one roll of this filament on hand because it's my favorite. It's always wound up so cleanly. I love the fact they give you a reference on the filament roll of how many grams you have left.
Highlights
Quality
Print quality is good and so is durability.
Highly recommend any overture filament, but this petg prints super well, very very smooth no print lines and is tough!
What i printed has been outside for a few months now and there is no fade or wear on it.
This particular roll had one spot where the filament was fused to the layer below, causing under-extrusion (ran dry).
Price
Even though it was more expensive than others.
Hopefully overture can start lowering their prices to match the market prices because i do love their petg filament.
Shipping
The one day i dried it for 6 hours while printing, came in the next morning and tried printing.
Packaging/appearance
The spool i got was well dried out of the packaging, and i ran it without drying with zero issues.
Competitiveness
It is like a pure white while other brands seem to be more of a slight cool white
I have only been having the normal problems you get for using petg regardless of brand.
