Pros & Cons

Pros

Petg works best with a bed temp of about 75°c and nozzle temp of 240°c. It's about as easy to work with as pla, but is better in nearly every way. Using a matte pei bed surface makes printing a lot easier, certainly less hassle than prepping a glass b...  Read More

Plan on spending a good chunk of time dialing in the settings for your printer. It really pops. After dabbling with cheaper brands of petg, i keep coming back to overture.

Cons

With the white it seems impossible to get a good print, dealing with both over extrusion and under extrusion in different parts of the print. Tried to print something with it over and over. It prints thin and stringy and does not stick.

Since the reviews are very good, i assume i got a bad batch. I have no idea how this filament receives such high ratings. Frankly i'm disappointed by the white petg from overture.

Not going to be buying overture again. As much as i love overture pla, their petg is a bad product.

Came dry, no tangles or lumps in the filament.

And i cant put my finger on it but theres something so cool about the way its all packaged, looks and feels.

Competitiveness

If you're looking to print accessories for dewalt tools, this is the closest match to "dewalt yellow" out there.

I use overture product more than any other filament due to the quality and consistency.

To note: this is the first petg filament i've used so i have nothing to which to compare this petg.
