Pros

No settings profiles for popular slicers but i suppose it's not too much to enter all the settings in manually when you get a spool and tweak them to your machine for a perfect print. My printer is a mostly stock ender3, with only the extruder being u...  Read More

Cons

This is the worst filament i've had the misforturn of ever encountering. The price was so low. And that's where the nightmare began. Such a shame.

The overture petg filament was a nightmare to work with. Winding on the spool is poor and results in twisting of the filament.

Pet isn't matte, its a very glossy polymer. Otherwise the filament remain matte and is brittle. Even with all my settings properly dialed in and getting solid prints, this stuff is nearly as brittle as pla.

Quality

The print quality is excellent, strong, doesn't lift off the bed plate.

Once calibrated, print quality was great with minimal stringing.

I have to print with the cooling fan off, otherwise the layers don't stick well to each other.

Price

Glad i bought it when the price was low.

The price i paid before christmas was $34.

I also swapped my hotend throat in the ender-3 stock hotend for an all metal one from spool because of ptfe scorching issues i had before.

The price for this 6 pack has jumped tremendously.

Packaging/appearance

Great prints one you dial in the petg temp print speed and bed head

It was really hard to figure out the right settings but here are the specs i used:you also have to set the .

Competitiveness

This is my first petg filament and my first print with it.

Though my go to petg filament is sunlu, i tried overture for the price and it works.

Printed on a creality cr6 se, nozzle at 250c, bed at 85c, layer height of 0.

Many have generic petg filament presets that you may have to check.
