Pros & Cons
Cons
Save yourself the headache and do not purchase this filament. There are much better options out there that will not cause frustration and wasted time.
This is the first pla i've had from overture that is just no fun to print with. It refuses to stick to the print bed and clumps up around the heated extruder. It begins clogging the hotend almost immediately, causing the print to fail every time.
I'm not sure why they bother shrink wrapping a packet of desiccant (silica gel) with it's totally desiccated and brittle already. I tried the gold, copper and silver silk filaments, all of them have clog issues.
Filament seems to have lost it's lay on the reel. Winding is terrible and might be partly to blame for fails. Adherence is the problem.
This particular roll wasn't rolled very good. Tangles too much in the roll and excessive filament easily comes off spool on one side and tangles into a large mess.
