Pros & Cons
Pros
The pla seems to be not as brittle as other filaments which gives the parts a softness without compromising sturdiness. As for the color, it's really saturated.
It prints smoothly and consistently and gave me no problems at all. Inconveniently, this weird filament requires me to tweak settings for its own gcode.
It sticks just fine without a raft or brim but it is better off with slightly warmer bed temperatures than not. Adjusting bed/nozzle temperature helped a lot with adhesion issues.
Cons
The two rolls of overture pla i received have to be the worst i have ever used. Poor bed adhesion, a concerning level of stringing, a brittle plastic finish and is just bad overall. I've enjoyed overture but don't have the time to deal with * mistakes... Read More
After messing with extruder temps, and bed temps. Had to change out the bowden tube (capricorn tubing) and do a thorough hotend cleaning. The filament is too fragile and breaks easily mid-print possibly due to lousy winding.
The tangle pictured is the 3rd tangle i've run into on this roll. This product requires continuous supervision or it will get tangled and screw up your prints.
Highlights
Quality
Overall, i am very impressed with the overture pla filament 1.
The print quality is excellent, it has really good adhesion and i have had no problems at all with it.
print quality i will give 4*adhesion at least for lottmax v3 shark 2 1/2 *sheerness i will give 4* as well.
Just remember that filament quality means nothing if your printer hasn't been properly dialed in.

The only advantage to the bambu material is that theirs are tagged with rfid chips that identify the filament type and color to the equipment which is handy but not a requirement
