Pros & Cons
Pros
My primary filament brand is overture due to the consistancy and quality of the prints. Overture and prusement filaments are both huge favorites of mine. Matte is a great option for 3d printing.
Matte finish looks super cool. There are a couple of layer lines that stick out a little where my cat ran across the printer, but i can hardly blame the filament for that.
Cons
While the visual concept of the filament is appealing, the practical execution falls short due to these clogging issues. The filament is visually appealing, but its impracticality makes it challenging to use. Incredibly disappointed, but nowhere near ... Read More
Constant clogs, snags, and print failures. I've had countless, multi hour prints fail due to the spool being tangled.
Everything was sliced through creality print. Won't adhere to the bed on bambulab with generic, or brand specific settings. It sticks so aggressively that your bed will come off with the print and get ruined.
Highlights
Quality
The mattes are consistent in color and quality; print like a dream.
Good filament, prints good, watch temps when printing.
It's more of a matte finish, and the filament itself feels less smooth and more textured.
Anything that's left, heat your print bed up to around 80-90 degrees, and the filament will peel right off.
Price
Great filament for the price would recommend
Well at least you didn't have to pay much for it.
Packaging/appearance
Packaged nicely also appreciate the cardboard spools.
Looks extra nice for bones and skeleton models.
The filament boxes were packed tightly to the outer box and the spool edges were crushed.
Competitiveness
Have done a few in silk pla from other manafacturers, and then saw this product, and like it very much.
I will likely try a different rock pla when this one runs out, as it gives me more problems than even abs printing.
Overall i would buy the same brand, just not the dual color, if i can't get consistent results.
The color is good, but a little darker than the add on my computer, as compared to the print.
