Pros & Cons
Pros
This filament always performs well once you have it dialed in. Alway turns out flawless for me. I have a elegoo neptune x and this is my first time using fdm so take this with a grain of salt.
It prints well, and prints produced at appropriate heat and speeds are pointedly less brittle than standard pla prints. Printing is consistent, with no clogging.
It paints very, very well. I use a glue stick to help and this stuff might not need it.
Cons
Kilos of unopened filament will be returned. Massive buildup on the nozzle with every print.
I will not even donate this to the world's worse enemies, it is that bad. That alone is a deal breaker for me. I say this because i am trying to convey just how bad this filament is.
Also had to raise the bed temp to 75c. Every temp variation and offset was used to no avail. Filament scratches are white which makes the color irrelevant. The color is faded.
Highlights
Quality
All my prints have come out at a good quality.
It prints easily and produces high-quality results.
I have been printing a long time and had many problems.
I tried inserting pieces of filaments into a piece of bowden tube and some dragged and some went through very loosely.
Price
The price was right, and allowed my art students to print their chess sets in appropriate colors!
Bought this because it was on sale, and was surprised that it produced the best print quality i've ever seen in such a cheap filament.
Wish it would be a little bit less expensive.
Not sure if it's worth the oem price, but i'll absolutely grab more when it goes on sale again.
Packaging/appearance
The pink looked interesting so i had to get it, and of course, my fiancé ended up liking that one the most.
Prints look more like their light gray listing than the images for this space gray amazon listing.
Competitiveness
I have tried many different brands for filaments and this one has been consistent without problems.
Additionally, i heard that esun and sunlu are the same as bambu, which is what our printers are.
This is the second spool i have purchased from overture.
Look, i know there are a lot of brands out there, i have used many of them.
