Pros & Cons
Pros
Prints are smooth and overhangs are phenomenal. Since printed objects have little reflections with the matte filament, the prints in my opinion look much better than the shiny stuff, were every imperfection shows.
Cons
I am open to revising my review if future batches show improvement. Buyer beware. Pick a different supplier for pla+.
Half the roll is gone troubleshooting this abomination of a filament. I switch to overture and it is horrendous. Overture isn’t the place anymore.
The filament's inherent flaws are the root cause of the printing issues. I have several spools that are so brittle and break off before it even reaches the extruder. The overture consistently gets tangled up and stops feeding into the printer.
Same filament and material just rewound onto another spool. Sharp corners start warping from the first few layers. Only way to keep corners from warping is with at least 10mm of brim.
Highlights
Quality
I never have real adhesion issues, and the print quality is great.
It's not the cheapest filament around, but it's still an extremely reasonable price for the quality you're getting.
I've found overture filament to all around good filament but it all seems to have an issue with the first few loops on every sp... Read More
The print quality is about the same as pla+ but it has a ductile feeling to it so i use it for my mechanical assemblies vs.
Price
I suppose we all know by now that there is little difference between filament manufacturer (except the price tag), nowadays.
Competitiveness
I can't comment on the heat improvements as that doesn't apply but for a working assembly, this material works better than petg.
I get the best results compared to some of the other brands.

Printed alot of overture over the years but this one i had to run way hotter than the rest to get a good print and i dunno if its the formula or just a bad roll but had to crack it up to 245ish to get smooth good looking prints from it which isnt usually the case for overture filament
