Pros & Cons
Pros
The overture silk pla works just fine. It prints with incredible detail and you don't really have to up the infill or layer height to increase strength as this stuff is tough.
Highlights
Quality
Great filament and works great with bambu labs a1 mini
All my prints have come out at a good quality.
Much like other reviewers have stated, my first several prints with this filament failed due to poor bed adhesion, warping, and... Read More
I was getting really poor layer adhesion and under extrusion at my usual pla nozzle temp of 205.
Price
The price was right, and allowed my art students to print their chess sets in appropriate colors!
I think this is a really great filament at the price.
This in turn negates the higher price.
Wish it would be a little bit less expensive.
Packaging/appearance
The pink looked interesting so i had to get it, and of course, my fiancé ended up liking that one the most.
Prints look more like their light gray listing than the images for this space gray amazon listing.
Competitiveness
I have tried many different brands for filaments and this one has been consistent without problems.
Additionally, i heard that esun and sunlu are the same as bambu, which is what our printers are.
This is the second spool i have purchased from overture.
My printer defaults to 300mm/s for pla, while overture specifies 40-70mm/s for this pla professional.
