Pros & Cons

Pros

I recommend this filament to others, as the quality of the plastic, lack of stringing, and moderate durability were definite pluses. This purple/gold filament lays down beautifully.

It is absolutely beautiful with the shimmer and slight variations of perceived color. The purple and gold colors are rich and vibrant, and they work together to create a regal and sophisticated look. The finish gets a little rough on spherical layers....  Read More

There is very little stringing and no noticeable defects or blemishes. The printed part is dimensionally correct and i didn't get any clogs. One thing to note about this filament is that it can be a little stringy.

The filament is nicely wound on the spool. It unwinds smoothly without tangling. The spool is wound neatly.

Cons

Lots of problems with the material delaminating. Used half a roll of filament and still never could get a usable cookie cutter. Extruder grinds up the filament and stops advancing.

Tried several print head temps, with/without cooling. Still, garbage every time.

Quality

I'd say it's a little expensive compared to some other dual color silks, but the quality is great.

Good quality print especially for a lower cost material.

Price

Price is comparable to other filaments in this vein.

Packaging/appearance

I always print 3dbenchy on my ender 3 for new filament to test how it is first out of the box.

Going down the tube was another story since it wants to stay the same form on the roll there was resistance pushing it to the hotend.

Competitiveness

I'm relatively new to the 3d printing world, so have been reluctant to leave reviews until i tried more than a few brands.

(some have been good, though, such as polymaker.
