Pros & Cons
Pros
The filament itself works great and is easy to print. It has a nice matte sheen once it's printed. Since printed objects have little reflections with the matte filament, the prints in my opinion look much better than the shiny stuff, were every imperf... Read More
Cons
It's possible that i received a bad batch, which points to inconsistent quality control from the manufacturer. Can't recommend overture just for this reason.
Same filament and material just rewound onto another spool. I have several spools that are so brittle and break off.
Every print after the first print fails to stick to the bed. The filament's inherent flaws are the root cause of the printing issues. Had to rebuild my print head.
They claim that the filament was dried for 24hrs before sealing. The suggested temps are not close. Terrible layer adhesion, terrible overhangs. Flow is bad, temp control is bad.
Highlights
Quality
All my prints have come out at a good quality.
Always go with overture great print quality
I have been printing a long time and had many problems.
I tried inserting pieces of filaments into a piece of bowden tube and some dragged and some went through very loosely.
Price
Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but the layers, toughness and quality is just fabulous imo.
Not sure if it's worth the oem price, but i'll absolutely grab more when it goes on sale again.
Bought this because it was on sale, and was surprised that it produced the best print quality i've ever seen in such a cheap filament.
Packaging/appearance
The pink looked interesting so i had to get it, and of course, my fiancé ended up liking that one the most.
Prints look more like their light gray listing than the images for this space gray amazon listing.
Competitiveness
I have tried many different brands for filaments and this one has been consistent without problems.
Additionally, i heard that esun and sunlu are the same as bambu, which is what our printers are.
This is the second spool i have purchased from overture.
I do have to say my problems have occurred in other brands.
