I finally got the raid 1 mode working and it was slowwwwwww but in jbod mode and using some software to manage the files speed is greatly increased

As others have stated the space for connecting drives wires is very tight but its a very minor issue considering the compactness of the device

Drive chatters during readwrite but so do my other large raid drives nothing unusual or objectionable here imho
