My 2011 macbook air died and i bought this to access and see if the ssd was still functioning so i could retrieve my files

It looks sleek and somewhat matches the appearance of the mac air but the quality of materials feels cheap

However during research i didnt find too many alternative cases to use the mac air 2011 solid state drive as an external drive and the ones that i did find on ebay were not priced that much lower and were much uglier shipped from china

Apple genius said it would be at least 600 to recover the data if it was recoverable which they wouldnt guarantee but it would cost 600 to find out

My it services vendor said that it was not recoverable because the ssd drive wasnt removeable
