Highlights
Quality
The system is now running quite fast and we are very pleased with the results.
Being my first time using this for my imac, i'm very satisfied with the grip and experience.
Using this thermal sensor i was able to stick the actual sensor on the ssd and power it with the included sata connector.
Back then i purchased the hdd model that was compatible with the imac to avoid having the fans run at full blast.
Shipping
I might not be as fast as the 2019 imac, but for what i'm doing i'm fast enough.
Packaging/appearance
Was able to install this during my ssd upgrade with one eye closed.
Competitiveness
I was able to update my hard drive to a new ssd in about 30 minutes with this kit and a sabrent 2.
Worked great when installing a seagate sshd into my 2009 imac.
So a few years ago, like 8, i replaced the hdd on my late 2009 imac with a 1tb model.
Had all the tools needed to successfully install a 1tb evo 860 into an aging 2010 imac!

Great hardware fix avoiding the kludge of having to run fan control software all the time

My clients dont understand or remember these things and i dont want them to have to deal with a loud fan down the road when they reinstall macos from scratch or when something unexpected happens to break the fan control software
