According to my blackmagic disk speed test the ssds on the usb3 connection was regularly getting 350400mb transfer speed

I assume my throttle is either the drives themselves and their transfer speed or the fact this raid enclosure only allows for two drives

Included in that package is a green thunderbolt cable it turned out to be of low quality
