After a year in, i have decided to use the apple software raid and it works flawlessly.
Minus one star due to the fact that this unit does not have a on or off switch and the led when in sleep mode is super bright.
So far the cumbersome software that barely works is garbage.
The requirement to use their raid software is kind of a bummer.
