The xoxo is an improved design over the one you have to pull or push and turn (the old metal ones) i believe it’s dishwasher safe too. I read so many reviews about how cleaning this is *, but had to laugh the first time i cleaned it.

Water drains quickly without leaving a puddle in the sink. It has a dial on the top to close or open the drain. The strainer holes catch much more food debris than a regular metal strainer, so it helps keep your drainage system cleaner.
