Pros

Extra minute is a giver for everyone. My only complaint is that it's a bit bigger than i really needed. Do yourself a favor and buy this one over the cheaper ones.

Huge steeping basket and the arms are wide enough that i can use it in a 40 oz insulated cup. Perfect for brewing a single cup of tea. Handles that allow the infuser to sit perfectly on my mug are coated with silicone on the bottom.

The pad cushions the strainer when placed on the cup which makes for a nice feel. No clinky-clank here either. The lid doubles as a holder for the steeping basket, if you take you tea our to the porch.

the mesh can is 2 steel pieces, the steel winged top and the silicone rubber pad. The wall of the can is a sleeve of flat steel wrapped into a cylinder with 8 spot welds spaced vertically along the seam at about.

Cons

I have been very happy with the quality of this strainer.

A nice design and very well made.

Purposefully, i bought this version, with no hinges, because reviews indicated very small hinges are flimsy and prone to rust.

You won’t burn yourself as there are silicone grips on the under side of the handles.

Price

Also feel it's a little expensive for what it is.

Shipping

It does stain quickly, but hey, it's tea and it's to be expected.

Before this, i used the snap ball tea strainer but this is so much better.
