It is just all around a horrible product not to mention overpriced. Pepper part is even worse. Cool design, substandard execution, shoddy materials. This product has a defective design, as described by other reviewers.

The blades are so dull that it doesn't grind but smushes the pepper. Its like there was no blade to cut the pepper corns. They come out in chunks or half-pieces of peppercorn, even though the setting is on the finest grind.

Great price, easy to use and clean, i have three of these—one in the kitchen, one in the dining room, and one in the rental unit!

But you can get used to it quickly, and it's nice to have it staying clean on its own.

And the salt that comes with it is super fine so it works with the small holes but others have expanded them and i can see why
