I have not yet found a need or reason to use the lidded container but it stows itself neatly up in the bottom of the grater and does not protrude as pictured for storage

I initially thought the lid would also fit on the bottom of the grater but it does not

It would have been great to be able to snap the lid onto the bottom of the grater so contents would be contained in the grater itself

Usually with any of the grators you find that have a catcher the cheese likes to stick to it and you have to sort of manually pull it away

You know in the back of your mind you got this but in reality the empty cans of lone star on the counter is whats telling you can do this
