Oxo generally makes high quality products but due to some of the design quirks i dont think this is worthy of five stars

Our old one was nearly impossible to put together but as it aged it came apart very easily

For my purposes it works pretty well but would work better if it had been glass i knew it wasnt when i bought it

I havent had any problems with the collar falling off and had actually thought this was just a one piece item because i tried my damndest to get this off while being ginger as to not to break it if it were a one piece

If i could figure out the way to succesfully remove the bulb and clean it this would be a 5 star review

We had a cheap baster before this one and it broke after less than a year so we upgraded to this one
