Pros
It's sharp and the grip is comfortable. The curved end lets you rest it across the bowl and grate directly into it. Comes with a protective cover that easily snaps on/off over the cutter face.
This oxo is perfect for coarse grating and shredding. It gets some pressure when you're grating something like a hard cheese, so it makes sense it would crack there. We find this grater is a perfect culinary accessory!
Cons
Don’t be mislead by the 5⭐️ rating, this product is not worthy of your money. The first time i’ve ever been disappointed in the quality of this brand. Will be returning asap. They sent the wrong replacement a second time!
Cheese slides right off of it while grading because the holes are so tiny. Plastic around the grate is a hard plastic. Prior to breaking, the metal part slips out of the frame.
It's like rubbing the lemon on sandpaper instead of a grater. It seems like it causes the oils to ooze from the skin, but doesn't actually zest it. Turned ginger into mush.

The companion to the larger oxo coarse cheese grater this small model is also an etched grater that produces a fine shred quickly but is unidirectional instead of bidirectional like so many graters these days

Like most any food grated cheese begins oxidizing the moment it is shredded so the flavor of cheese shredded from a brick is really much better than buying from a bag

Because its etched its supersharp so i wouldnt recommend it for shaky or clumsy hands

Pros• nice comfortable grip• etched supersharp surface lets you grate with less pressure• narrow profile makes grating a less messy affair• blade cover enhances storage safety• superfine short shreds make for easiest melting and less messcons• not suitable for shaky or clumsy hands due to extreme sharpness• ultrasharp grating surface can be a challenge to clean rinse immediately with hot water after use before dishwashing
