Pros & Cons
Pros
It is a well made product and i keep it with my other kitchen implements for opening stuff. It is fantastic for opening jars that i might otherwise never be able to get into.
Large, rubbery handle is easy to grasp. Sometimes it takes a little more grip but those are usually old or rusted. If you have a senior in your family with problems gripping and holding on to things, it will change their life.
This looks and feels quite sturdy. Very reasonably priced for the quality, it works well and is built to last. It's size is great, too!
Oxo good grips are a funky thing. Grips small caps to large jar lids.
Cons
I hope they redesign it again. It is useless. Unless you need a *-scooper when you walk your dog.
This item lacks the heavy dutiness that it needs to open the toughest of jars. It is not long enough to get the leverage required to open some jars. If you have an extra spot in your drawers for it go ahead and buy it, otherwise don't!
