Pros

This jar opener saves your hands and wrists! The quality and grip are decent for the price. It even has a rubber base to set the jar on. Life people is easy.

Cons

The silicone pad works better than this product. Design using serrated metal gripper is dysfunctional. Shame on you, amazon and oxo.

It still works fine to pry mason jar lids off, but for unscrewing, the metal teeth will shred any metal lid before twisting it off. Design does not support many soft lids - the grips are thin & sharp so they just destroy the lid without opening.
