If the pole is bending its because youve got it set too tight between top and bottom

Good to have an extra pair of hands to hold pole upright while you operate the updown tightloose mechanism at the bottom

The shelves stay put after having shelves placed with a set screw that ultimatley would fail

Loved it until it randomly fell a month after i put it up and then it wouldnt lock in place so i had to exchange it

I thought maybe i put too much stuff in the baskets until i went to install the brand new pole and had the same issue with it not locking

Both poles had developed a crease in the plastic base part and refused to lock in place

I contacted oxo told them what happened and they sent me a replacement pole in the mail

When i received it i noticed the one they sent me was a different base pole it was a much darker grey than the one pictured in my photo
